A gigantic high pressure dome
Is keeping moisture from my home
Entire East coast is dry, dry, dry
With temps to summertime high
This last weekend of summer season
Atmospheric heat trapping the reason
Millions of kids in the streets
Stop sucking oil industry teats
Skipping school, keeping pressure on
So our problem is gone when we're gone
Change is hard but better come soon
We ain't movin' & living on the moon
This is it, only place we've got
And we are making it unbearably hot
Why not skip, no need for schools
On planet run for greedy fools
Hope schools soon empty on Friday
Fill the streets, blocking the way
Of the problem, gas sucking cars
Insanity sign: washing sand for tars!
Big quake trouble in Albania today
Bet they had some major building sway
Usual SW Pacific & Chilean quakes
Kansas & OK with freakin' frackin' shakes
Little quakes on Hawaii; volcano land
But, still no lava attention demand
Moon at Last Quarter later today
Neap tides will lessen ocean sway
Jupiter & Saturn set earlier each day
As from the two gas giants we pull away
Get out and enjoy last weekend of summer
Try and forget the prez a lying bummer
Caught again pulling vindictive slime
Come on Nancy, it's impeachment time!
Get him out before his decisions kill us all
Way past time, he needs to fall
And, on that happy note, I'm done
Retrieve a dog from his neighbor run
So, take a walk and not a drive
Dine at home, not some corporate jive
Chat with a friend, share a smile
Slow down, let it all take awhile
