Power plants & grid making less sense

In our overpopulated present tense

Wires & pipes running everywhere

When every structure could just care

For its own daily needs

Our technology far exceeds

The challenges that idea presents

First, better child planning by parents

Just one or two great kids

Puts growth & greed on the skids

Thought & planning; to life sustain

In times of both flood & no rain

Not really that hard, can be done

Need to use our brains & the sun

But, with no leadership or no plans

Change ain't coming from any republicans

Off Puerto Rico, much less rock in sway

NW USA, another snowstorm underway

40 degree swing just in TX today

Planet just doing its thing, getting wild

But, Earth don't lie, whine or shirk blame
