Big ole shake but no tsunami seen
Still lots of aftershocks off Puerto Rico
Caribbean plate still going freak-o
Kansas & OK still got fracking blues
Gotta keep the oil & gas flowing thru
Another day of summer-like heat
With a smack in face humidity greet
In the northwest it's dumpin' snow
Hard to say how weather's gonna go
On a planet that we don't think
Can change quickly, in a blink
So many fools believe we don't matter
But what really does; facebook chatter
Just remember, Earth still in charge
And, into our lives it will barge
Are you ready to every day adapt?
Or is migration a little more apt?
Only options we all share
And, for each other we can care

I agree, firing squad for treason

If you like the summer heat
This week will be mighty sweet
Record will continue to tumble
As onward summer does rumble
If you go outside today
Quickly sweat will come your way
Who knows, we could just bypass Fall
And, jump right to a winter squall

If you school your 6 kids at home
And, from bible verses you don’t roam

You don’t care if we trash the Earth
Believe vaccines not part of god’s plan
Believe a good wife obeys her man
