Virginia basked in a lovely fall day
Deep South blew temp records away
Punk'n Head prez, more mafia-like treasons
Impeachment, Duh? How many more reasons
Caribbean plate still slipping & sliding
Mid-Ocean ridges, more magma up-riding
Storms in Atlantic, far away from land
But, big warming planet still in command
Monster heat dome pushing storms away
But, allowing no rain to head our way
Record heat forecast well into October
Daylight fading but summer not over
Just checked weekly volcano list
19 mountains seemingly pissed
Exploding, blasting, oozing & shaking
Krakatoa & Etna, long past waking
Earth just spinning, doin' it's thing
While greed-heads demand newer bling
Old Chinese men want more rhino horn
Another creature with a future forlorn
But, is it really we humans in trouble
Lost diversity another prick in our bubble
Late blog today, futon recycling project
Re-made to a table, new useful object
And, didn't spend any money today
To slow madness, shoppers go away
Creates problems, too, but can force change
