Half way through the month that bridges
Summer into the Fall
High pressure over VA, the jet stream ridges
Returning summer heat to all
Inside chillin' and lot of football gawking
How 'bout dem 'Boys over Skins
But, I'll not gloat or do too much trash talking
Long season to brag on just 2 wins
Bad officiating, the Saints just hurt again
Rams rewarded by more slime
When it obviously costs a team a TD or win
Mistakes need fixing in real time
Need to take a big dog walk, & TV break, no doubt
Breyer got bitten or stung
So, this morning poor boy was all freaked out
Better with walk & dinner bell rung
Average day of quakes, mostly boundary clusters

Hope that's not from fracking, shale busters
