37 quakes at or above magnitude 5, none reached mag. 6 today. The southern & western edge of the Pacific plate is where most have occurred but Iceland and off West Africa joined in, as well. There were more quakes in Puerto Rico and Oklahoma than California; Earth spins and shakes on.
High pressure remains in place over the entire eastern US, northern air keeping us cool in Va. for one more day before the big warm up begins. A spring-like week lies ahead, welcome..short of no rain, at all and an increased fire danger.

The evening spectacle of winter stars and Mars dazzled again last night. Hope you got out and checked it out. The sun slowly works into the next cycle, sunspots remain relatively small but the solar wind density and speed will keep aurora watchers busy and dazzled in the far north.
