With 6.4 folks were feeling sad
But just before midnight local time
Mag. 7.1 quake busted out a rhyme
Early 4 & 5 mag. aftershocks
Two plates slipping, bustin' rocks
If this is a growing trend
Gonna be more break than bend
But, after 20 years it was overdue
Cause those plates keep movin' through
Pacific moving to the northwest
Slamming westward N. American breast
Collision, subduction, faulting, melting
Quakes & volcanoes will keep pelting
The western US.
Wonder who DonnyJonny will blame
If Yellowstone ups its game?
We all better hope not!
