The heat is still on for hump day
With the highest temps yet to come
But a little breeze put the grass a'sway
Making a morning walk seem less dumb
Even though it really doesn't matter
To me or the big brown dog
Hot, cold, wet, dry we go scatter
Out on Earth for the usual slog
But, that refreshing breeze
And the rush of evaporation
For a second the heat didn't seize
A smile, relief from heat consternation
My big brown dog is laying in the sun
It's 90 in the shade, how is that fun?
He's still recovering from last night's roam
Seeing his girlfriend, before wandering home
He's a mess!
Now back in, headed to the cool floor
But he's hot to the touch for sure
Never know what goes on in a dog brain
'Cept lotta love & never complain
Shaky day on Aussie/Pacific boundary
And, Bay area got magnitude 4.3 reminder
That Earth is a big rock recycle foundry
With friction 'tween the only binder

And, shakes at both ends of Tennessee
West coast avoided tsunami fun
Mississippi quake overdue? We'll see

Volcano list out late this hump day
Get that caught up on the morrow
No sunspots but solar wind blast on way
Minor auroras coming two tomorrows
We missed the eclipse last night
Clouds here kept moon out of sight
Only the filtered glow of moon light
Easier tirehouse sleeping alright!
