What a refreshing change
Molecules slow to rearrange
Less energy, moving slow
And, what we have to show
Is delightful coolness
With a thought to now dress
Warmer! But not much
We are still very much in touch
With Summer!
Fairly quiet earthquake day
Pacific/Australian plate some sway
Mid-Atlantic ridge with a move
Must be lava oozing in that groove
California has calmed down
Recently, San Andreas going to town
Hawaii still no volcano action
But, that is little satisfaction
After the big blow last year
Burned up roads & houses dear
We'll see what's on this weeks list
But, tomorrow, USGS insists
Today is last quarter moon
Rise at 1:00am, set hour past noon
Air should be clear to check evening sky
Jupiter, Saturn you should spy
Scorpio, Sagittarius, Summer Triangle
Opposite upside down Dipper dangle
Lovely day, get on out
No heat or humidity to cause a pout
Enjoy today, dream of Fall
Really the time till then is small
Before that happens, will be more heat
Enjoy the summer time, it's sweet
