Cali desert still be shaking
More magnitude 4's, you're a'waking
While in Va. we be baking
Humidity your breath is taking
Gonna just get hotter here
When Cali calms, still unclear
Otherwise Earth spinning round
We could soon here thunder sound
Yesterday storms went below
Today seems a northern show
Clouds are thickening right now
Will we get the rain some how
Time alone will always tell
Might as well
Just ride the swell
Cuz Earth don't care..
Hope you caught the scene last night
Moon and Saturn parked real tight
Less than 3 hours till eclipse
Every 6 months moon doesn't tip
Lines right on up with Earth
Shadows mesh, an eclipse birth
Won't be dark where I am sitting
Other hemisphere is getting
The moon grazing our shade
So easy how an eclipse is made
Two more coming early next year
Where? Right now, I'm not clear
Little late with today's blog
But, I've been out for a slog
About to head out into the heat
Still 90.7 on my street
But, I know dog wants to go
He'll be in the creek, fo' sho'
Stay cool but get on out today
We evolved to deal with heat this way
Little sweat will do you good
Wander round your neighborhood
