Hope you are feeling spry

For the Ides of July

Hope that you like it hot

Cuz that is what we got!

The jet stream is stuck on the border

So, the ole US has got a heat disorder

While Barry has mostly blown apart

Remnant rain still in country's heart

While it did spare New Orleans town

Water will keep flowing down

Flooding all along the way

Washing a little more delta away

So, Queen City should not be bragging

Long as their city keeps on sagging

More storms and floods are on the way

Planet Earth will have it's say

Raising seas & lingering storms

We're gonna deal with those new norms

And, heat

Then likely more heat

Then a little more heat

Are we ready to meet

Tomorrow?

More big shakes around the rim

Even as in Cali they slim

PNG today with 6.2

But, no tsunami sliding through

Earth seems extra shaky of late

While we just hunker and wait

For the next fault to move

And disrupt our peaceful groove

Saturn - Moon - Jupiter

Was spectacular for sure

Hope you caught that show last night

Today Moon just to Saturn's right

While Jupiter still blazes away

Ringed world & moon will play

Tomorrow Full Buck moon & lunar eclipse

When thru Earth's shadow our satellite slips

North America, in daylight, is shut out

Rest of world gets the partial shout

Eclipse!!
