Hummers & Yellow Jackets

Embroiled in a racket

At the hummer feeder

Guess I'm going to need'er

A new bee guard feeder

Hummers are great

Yellow Jackets will have to wait

For the bug spray

Don't like going that way

But hidden bees in the ground

If found, are going down!

50 years ago today

3 humans were on their way

To an encounter with the moon

About to go into orbit soon

Before Neil and Buzz dropped

And then both plopped 

Onto the moon

We Earthlings did a pride swoon

Where did the togetherness go?

Just a doubled population to show

Today seems hate & greed rule

Seem to think we can fool

The Earth!

We can't

But, we all are sure along

For the ride

Getting soooo much wrong

Need a change of tide!

Have kids responsibly

Keep beliefs where no one can see

Keep yourself healthy

Don't be blaming me

For your problems

I got 'em too
