The center of the Low/storm that went through yesterday sits to the north and off the coast but its spin is flinging cool damp air our way. Hanging close to the ground is has us locked into another raw nasty day. The sun seems to be trying to burn the clouds away; no luck so far.
So, while the weather map says a big High sits overhead, clear and dry it is not. Forecasts call for a mostly clear but cool week ahead but we are a long ways from that right now. Most of the US is January-like but the frigid, arctic air is still up over the North Pole.
A couple of CME' blasted off the sun are heading earthward, two days hence and will stir up some aurora activity around said North Pole by Wednesday. Enjoy northerners, too cold for me!
Other than a 5.0 quake in China and another building and nerve rattling aftershock in Croatia, the earthquake numbers are relatively low today. Scotia plate, Indonesia and northern mid-Atlantic ridge make the list today and South F. Dakota??? Fracking? Salt water injection?? Oil greed??
TrumpVirus numbers show up low today, the usual weekend lull, but will change, judging from all the jet traffic this weekend, viral spread at 600mph. That should soon push infections and, of course, deaths higher. 352,000 dead so far, donny; getting close to more deaths than all the wars we fought in the 20th century, and it was a damn deadly century. Yeah, you made America great again. Your wedge of division, distrust and death, backed with constant lies and corporate support from the fox will linger on for years to come; you are a human virus. Still, idiot senators line up to suck you...most republican House members already walking around with their knee pads on, 24/7; pathetic!!
