While no quakes today hit the major jackpot, at least 10 registered above magnitude 5, onshore, off shore, Pacific rim, Nevada/Cali border(not at mag. 5 but lots) and Iran. Indonesia, poorly built, severely overpopulated continues to dig out from their 6.2 quake (site said 6.1) yesterday; death toll likely to rise even as their population overall soars every upward, word is, allah is not on the scene to help!!
If I had to describe a typical VA winter day, today would come to mind: hazy sun, chilly but not cold, not cold enough for any snow even with wraparound from the monster storm that slid by to the north yesterday, blizzard conditions in tow; blah, nap worthy.
The new solar cycle is growing, a new sunspot has appeared, signs of more on the sun's opposite side. Solar winds heading Earth's way will likely fire up auroras way up north. Mercury continues to rise higher in SW after sunset, peaking on the 23rd. Yesterday's clouds blocked any viewing of sky sights. Moon waxes on, its crescent thickening. Clear skies, check it out!!
Another 3,744 Americans succumbed to the "not a hoax" TrumpVirus yesterday, our world leading total deaths at 393,000 - can you say 400,000 before the weekend is done, sadly, we can!! We should easily reach 25 million total (known) cases before donny the douche leaves DeeCee Wednesday morning. Gotta say, if any state deserve him, it's Florida!!
Elsewhere in America, in basements, mobile homes and deep-woods cabins, small brains are making plans to use big guns, to take back a country they don't own, believing claims that the vast majority of this country and the world know to be deeply untrue!! The rest of us brace for the insanity these racist, inbred, morons plan, hoping to start a race war. Hopefully, there are not enough with that mindset in police, national guard, FBI and military units(we know there are plenty of like-minded idiots with badges and issued guns..) to turn the tide and unleash the destruction they crave. Gonna be a bumpy ride, lot of guns and dumbasses out there.
Sun is trying to burn the haze away, temp has just climbed out of the 30's but pressure is still stormy low. Chances of a little rain/snow squall later on before system moves way away and High pressure returns for upcoming week. Stay safe, be smart, mask on, stay apart..or home!!
