Planet, not a lot of shakes
From winter storms, mostly breaks
Greece, Indonesia, quakes over mag. 5
From those, all should survive
Sunny here, into the 50's
Only in NW is snow getting drifty
Sun still spotless, yet still blasting
Auroras in the sky, solar wind be casting
Took my binocs out on evening stroll
Gave the sky a quick patrol
Spotted what I thought was Jupiter
Kept looking to be sure
Then I spotted way down low
Thinking, it's Mercury, ya know
But, just checked Sky & Telescope
On my guess, that would be, nope!
Seems Mercury is the higher one
Coming out from 'round the sun
From Jupiter we still pull away
A morning star some February day
Still, duo quite a lovely sight to see
But, outside's where you gotta be
Waxing moon will join the pair
Just 'fore Jupiter is outta here
Look tonight
If you have a clear sight
Otherwise, stay safe, be smart
Mask on, stay apart
