Far away from daily to & fro
Happy as a Holladay can be!

Tilting away while drawing near
Zonal flow, Pacific air a'winning
Warming temps & a hazy clear
At almost our nearest approach
Jan. 5, we're closest to the sun

Close with tilt, wildfire "fun"
Global Warming, real, indeed!
Subduction of the Pacific plate
Lot of stuffing on eastern side
Big quake, never long to wait
Old rock jammed back inside
Of the big ole Earth
Quakes & volcanoes the result
Cycle of planet & rock rebirth
Humans need geologic consult
Reality, indeed
Venus still amazing evening sight
But, moon hidden, approaching New
Planet still climbing in height
26th, eclipse with sun peeking thru
Alas, annular ring not seen here
Eastern hemisphere near equator
Get a look if skies are clear
