A Cool & Cloudy Friday

It's showing rain on radar
Not reaching ground so far
Pretty dry down here low
Evaporation wins, ya know
Virga is the not-raining term
And it's not, I can confirm
Likely no rain 'til Monday here
Chilly temps but should be clear
Both Saturday & Sunday
Bundle up, get out and play
Biggest quakes near Tonga today
And, ocean rifts with some sway
New crust forming, old going away
Earth tectonics having its way
At tire house, birds out in the yard
Doves & woodpeckers eatin' hard
Red Bellied on a suet feeder
Dove on ground, a fallen seeder
In distance, buzzard cruisin' by
Lookin', waitin' for something to die
Hawks & Pileateds both with screams
Warning cries or so it seems
Another day here in the wood
Adapt Or migrate, all is good!

Last night another planet show
Venus still with serious glow
Jupiter near horizon, still fairly bright
Saturn higher up & fainter light
But, what a lovely sight they are
Seem so near, yet so far
Planets, stars & our galaxy
Shining bright, go have a see
Today, or Tonight, On Earth
