A large brown dog is back home
After his usual morning roam
Drink of water, plopped on the floor
Now he's panting, more and more

July 1st near Venus it will be
By the 3rd in the evening sky
Dim Mercury & Mars, nearby
Bring binocs..
Jupiter & Saturn sparkle still
Got a scope, eyeball thrill!
Slightly shaky around the Ring
But, no quakes with major zing
No big waves coming ashore
Still boundaries, energy in store
