Heat Continues, Planets Spotted!

Last night got a peek at the sky
Mercury & Mars hanging nearby
Need the binocs to spot
And, no storms to cool the hot
Very low in the southwest
Post 9:00pm makes viewing best
Neither big nor very bright
Still Mercury always a sight
Wait awhile for another pair
Jupiter & Saturn shining there
In the East later on
While lunar crescent almost gone
High up in the sky at 9:00am
Not hard today but getting thin
Yeah, it's hot and muggy out
With nasty mosquitoes, no doubt
But, don't be afraid to sneak a peek
During summer's first full week

Volcano Week🌋

17 volcanoes on this week's list
Several new, others persist
Popo, Krakatoa, Colima roar on
Kuril Isle's Raikoke, 95 years gone
But, it exploded big last week
New patterns planes had to seek
Kamchatka, Indonesia, each with five
Exploding mountains, Earth quite alive
Ubinas back blasting in Peru
Villarica rumbling in Chile, too
Ulawun roaring back on PNG
Ring of Fire is the place to be
Exploding mountains you need to see
I'm good, send pics to me

More Democratic candidates tonight
All agreed, Prez daChump ain't right
I watched more special on Bill Nye
He made more sense, the Science Guy
Not sure debating anti-science nut
Turned our well, but
He's persistent and has truth
No bible tales, consistent, measured proof
Global Warming & Evolution
We better work on solution
Or Earth will fix human pollution
Pain & Extinction
Planet cares not for our distinction
Time to watch soccer now
Already 1-Nil England, WOW!
Stay cool
Today on Earth
