Rain, drizzle, clouds are still here
But a High is pushing a front near
Tomorrow, forecast: maybe clear
Might sit outside for a beer
To recap the weekend, RAIN☔
Never really a pain
Just dreary and cool, made my brain
Think, let's take a nap💤
Here not quite an inch and a half
But, not far away you need a raft
Just to make the craziness real
Miss. valley with flooding they deal
When you live on or farm flood plain
And, you get lots of rain
It's gonna flood
FLOOD PLAIN, not a tricky word
While west coast dealing with fire
When cones need it for seeds to aspire
Then fire is part of natural scene
Yet we clever humans are not too keen
On taking what the Earth gives
And, learning to live
With it.
Large brown, wayward dog is back
After a four hour wander
Looking for his morning snack
Spoiled rotten, now a nap to ponder!

Most of today's quakes along Eastern Ring
For week, more Western edge slipping; zing!
Never did see the crescent moon
First quarter today, 🌓 gibbous soon
Maybe tomorrow, near Spica in Virgo
Jupiter at opposition today, so
(Opposite the sun from Earth)
It is technically up all night
Midnight will be time for good sight
So low from our northern view
Good binocs? spot a moon or two
One more day to try and stay dry
Or avoid the flames, change always nye
On the big Earth rock
So, why such a shock
When patterns change
And things rearrange
Only been going on for
4.5 billion years or more
Better be able to deal with it
