The planet is a little shaky today, no big quakes, lot of small ones around the US. West Texass fracking quakes, over a dozen around/between Hispaniola & Puerto Rico, Kansas, Alaska (just across into the Yukon), and even Tennessee. 5.1 on east edge of Scotia plate still biggest on entire planet today.
Clouds here, cool temps linger with the bulk of the rain in the upper Mississippi & Ohio valleys. It may graze us here later today and tomorrow. A slightly below average temperature week ahead; take it while we can, on a rapidly warming planet we know the summer heat is coming.
New sunspot is coming into view, no big blasts imminent. Lovely sunset with cirrus clouds last night but blocked any chance of Venus or Mercury viewing.
TrumpVirus has now completely infected what was the republican party and their only plan is to redistrict and to make it difficult for democrats to vote; quite the winning long term strategy. Especially when your orange talking head "leader"/tweeter (well, ex-tweeter) is almost 75 and could stroke out at any moment (fingers crossed on that one/!!). His namesake actual virus (he ignored it, denied it, it's his legacy now) has deaths and case numbers slowly declining but so are vaccination rates and TDS* refusal to get the vaccine is not going to help..and they don't care if they spread the virus..they'll deny on their death bed it's even real - good riddance but how many of the rest of us will they take with them; too many!
