It was 30 years ago today
That I came back Virginia way
Thinking I would stay a while
Change up my teaching style
To Earth Science from the ski
And, so today I be
A last graduation attendee
See my last class take their walk
Visit, share wishes, chat & talk
Then we'll all be on our way
Headed to a hopeful, better day
30 years, one last look
Then close up the teaching book
Well, at LCHS, anyway..
