Warm but dry we have it here
Down south much less clear
Dorian bands already hitting FL coast
Just a little preliminary toast
Before the long slow slog begins
Take much to wash away Florida's sins
As Earth temps rise, winds slow down
Nothing to move 'em, storms hang around
Drift and wander, dump lots of rain
Ask TX or NC about that pain
Seems that's what Dorian's gonna do
Slow to come and to go, too
Just no way to know what's coming
No gas to be had, serious bumming

Said it won't be coming ashore
Surprise turn! Onward it did roar
But today, more people and more stuff
Humans slow to learn, wait till it gets rough
Then want help, money, someone to blame

Average quake day round the world
But, super King tides have swirled
With the moon New and really near
Washing coasts everywhere clear
Of all our plastic, oil, sewage & trash
Not my problem, as we roll in the cash
This time next week we'll know
Just where Dorian did go
Actually, it's likely to still be around
Could be parked over Albemarle Sound
Still sitting and flinging down rain
Earth removing our excess heat again
Time to kick back, see what Earth can do
