Another day of clouds, no rain
Another day of sky viewing pain
As is pretty standard for VA
Good show; clouds in the way
With flooding in SW & on the Bay
Days of rain & wind at play
We are stuck in between
With no sun to be seen
And, really no rain falling
Yet, still they are calling
For 2 more days
Of this cloud/rain daze
If you have clear skies
Tonight, turn your eyes
To the northwest
Viewing will be the best
Venus & Mercury, side by side
With a finger you can hide
The two
From view
Whoa!!
Tomorrow another delight for eyes
As Venus drops Mercury will rise
Saturday moon joins the show
Sunday higher it will go
Maybe by then
Clouds will be thin
And, this mess will be gone
Finally, movin' on
Speaking of moving: rock
Nevada still heavy with aftershock
Subtract out Alaska & Idaho
Then remove Puerto Rico
Less than 10 quakes worldwide
And, with very little lava slide
Planet is fairly quiet
Well, 'cept for human viral riot
And, about that, Earth don't care
If we are or are not here
Just a'spinning, doing its thing
Unconcerned if leaders are lying
Unconcerned if humans are dying
Kinda like prez, still trying
To say what a great job he's done
Open up for economic fun
