The cause confusing but clear
CME from a giant sunspot
Got telegraph wires hot

While auroras slid
Into equatorial skies

What if storm rolled our way
It would be alarming
Satellites would sound warning
Grids would still go down
GPS satellites would go down
Their orbital paths unsound
Chaos & bedlam all around
No phones, no internet

And, currently, with no plan
Or clue, from our "lead" man
With idiots & all those guns
It would so not be fun
At least right now, solar minimum
But, into next cycle, what will come

Mercury coming into sight
After sunset in northwest
Rapid revolution, it's quest
In a week, will pass Venus by
Get out for an early spy
Capella, bright star off to right
Above, Gemini's twins, easy sight
As Venus continues descent
Good time to get 3-D hint
Of space around us
Close & closing, Venus
Still back behind sun
Mercury is making it's run
Now is a good time to see
Space's depth & reality
But, all from a safe distance
We ain't got viral resistance
At least not me
Guess, we'll all see
