More Clouds, Another Bear

Clouds & wind but so far, no rain
And, another bear cruisin' the scene
A large blurry Bear
But, not the big guy!
Suet feeders are full again & busy
Colorful birds getting wild & fussy
Tonopah still with shaky times
And, me still writin' silly rhymes
Hunkered down in a viral world
Watchin' trees get wind swirled
Sucks with clouds this whole week
As Venus & Mercury seek
Togetherness, in west, post-sunset
Waiting for moon to get
Into the photo; by the weekend
Maybe we can finally send
This cut-off Low on it's way
'Til then we're stuck, cool & grey
Monster High & tropical Low
Massive NE wind is gonna blow
It's actually keeping us out of rain
But, just south & west, no refrain
Rivers rising to flood
Roiling with mud
While tidal water in the Bay
Will wash waaay up on land today
2 to 3 feet above normal hi-tide
Little more sediment will slide
Out the Bay, to the sea
Where soon it will be
Sediment, turning to Shale
Earth & rock will prevail

Baby salamanders will crawl about
Laurel blooms will burst out

Spring continues unconcerned
If we humans have learned
Anything
From history
Anything
From reality
Anything
From science
Anything
From cancer
About unbridled growth
And selfish greed
Seems to me
We haven't learned much
Today On Earth
