At VA Beach!

A big brown dog went ridin' yesterday
And, soon in the ocean got to play
Still trying to figure out the waves
But for rolling in wet sand, he raves
What a mess!!
But, gotta confess
He still hasn't figured out not to drink
Ocean water, but he's starting to think
It's way better to drink from his bowl
Then back to the sand for a roll!

A cool front came thru last night
Little rain & lightning, never a fright
That knocked the temp down a bit
Another front coming and with it
Some serious relief from the heat
That had been trying to beat
Back Spring
But, soon that reality thing
Will return, summer now 3 weeks away
Then the heat will be here to stay

Not a lot of quakes on today's map
But quite a few big shaky zaps
Mostly offshore so no issues on land
And, no tsunami's to wash up onto sand
The moon's waning crescent is very low
Rising late and thin, not much show
Mars is still in the evening sky
Low & dim in the west, hard to spy
Our tilt to the sun creates these long days
Come evening the tilt works other ways
Making night's ecliptic view very low
So, Jupiter & Saturn not much of a show
Still plenty to see and enjoy
On our sweet planet toy
Get out and enjoy it
Today On Earth!

I'm going golfing!!

Breyer and his new buddy, Tater
Indoor romping!
