Sunny & Warmish With A Dose Of Slime

Got a taste like the ghostbuster team
With a big glop of slime the theme
Whether local or national politic
Both leave one feeling gross and sick
Taking and spending our tax money
For personal goals, that ain't funny
The hated mega-site Louisa voted down
Yet still alive to our economic development clown
Seems all he's done for at least half a year
Is push to waste money we've all made clear
That no one wants the county to do
Still last night he brought in a slew
Of like minded con men to spew
The hype of the cancerous growth crew
Where were those bozos 5 months ago
Oh yea, you thought this an easy go
We know, that just ain't so, Andy gotta go!

Up in DeeCee,  government's still shut down
That cause: fox news and an orange faced clown😡
Why won't Mexico build your wall Donny
You got so much money, you pay for it Donny
Couldn't get your 'publican lackeys to bite
In two years, why didn't they get it right
Or repeal and replace affordable health care?
"I just didn't know this job was such a bear"
But, he's just a rich bully with lawyers in tow
To threaten, sue and cover his mess; he don't know
Sadly, we all know what a complete idiot joke
Sadly the prez, the rich, punk bitch mafia bloke
But, eventually the government will be open
And, his large ass will be gone, we'er all hoping'!

I'm sitting and writing these caustic rhymes
Outside on a warm January day, crazy times!
It really is gorgeous, near 60 degrees
With pleasant sunshine, cuz no leaves on the trees
Tomorrow we're back to cooler temps
As a cold front approaches and attempts
To get us back below freezing
And the warmth will just have been teasing
For almost two weeks above 32
With snow in the weekend outlook, too
Winter was bound to make a return
But, milder as hydrocarbons still burn
Not many quakes around Earth today
A magnitude 6.3 made Japan go all sway
Otherwise pretty quiet on the big broken crust
On both Earth and Mars oxygen turns iron to rust
Check out that rust on Mars after dark tonight
And, a tiny crescent moon, not very bright
Low in the southwest, should be a sight
Early risers can catch quite a show
Venus, Jupiter and Antares 'fore the sun's glow
And, remember to keep an eye on those we elect
It really does matter whom we select
With the current crop there's much thinning to do
Still many old, white racist gotta goo
The sun sinking low in the southwest sky
And, I'm about ready to end this, say bye-bye
Just what, to you, has this day been worth
Be better outside, on your planet, Today On Earth!
