Big Shakes, Partial Solar Eclipse

Couple of big quakes in the last little bit
Tanaga volcano started with a 6.1 hit
Up in the Aleutian island arc
And bet a 6.8 quake left a mark
In the Amazon uplands of Brazil
Aftershocks they'll be feelin' still
But no shakes here and rain be gone
The sun is out, wind whipping along
Looks like we get a chance to dry out
Cloudy so long, I want to give a shout
Feeling like a spring day
A two day tease, but, surely far away
Yesterday was the year's latest sunrise
Today, a partial solar eclipse, surprise
But, only up near the North Pole
Or in the station where astronauts roll
The moon is level with Earth's orbit now
Twice a year, then eclipses, WOW
Usually the moon's above or below
So those shadows make no show
More on the Lunar coming in two weeks time
Time go plant some garlic, end this rhyme
Take a big dog for another romp
And watch some football monsters stomp
On each other, until then, sunshine calls
A lovely day with respite from squalls
Enjoy, Today On Earth.

Can you see the dog in the opening in the tree??
Good luck!!
