In retirement days seem to run
Together, turn toward the sun
And, then away, so nighttime
Sit down & throw down a rhyme
But, I usually know what day it is
Just in case there is a quiz...
Or I want to get out
And about
Like tonight, into town I'll go
For a nice dinner at da O
Golfin' coming up next week
As warmer climes I seek
But, what I do every day
Is take a dog out to play
And, romp in the wood
Wish that everybody could
Would do a lot to calm them down
Sadly, tough if you live in a town
Forget how lucky I am

Moon & Venus last night!!
Today a mix of cloud & sun
Rain or snow, I've seen none
Temps, well, they are staying low
Air, it is still having a blow
Weak front about to slide thru
Holding chill, another day or two
Then temps will take a leap
As closer to spring we creep
On average, every day
About 30 quakes that sway
Seismometers above mag. 4
Today, there's just a couple more
But, as usual only 4 above mag. 5
Still plenty of reminders Earth's alive
And, yes, still 30+, off Puerto Rico
But, at least, all magnitudes are low
Yesterday, caught a cool sight
Moon & Venus, both in daylight
First the moon in binocs
Then, above, Venus, not a real shock
Took the binocs away
There they were, plain as day
But, real show was after sunset
As more & more earthshine we'd get
Here's a moon close up
Terminator line not abrupt
Must be mountains up there..

Not sure what little star above is..
