Sun's trying to break through the haze
As February continues its cloudy days
Weak little front slid through late
For temp to climb, we'll have to wait
Until tomorrow..but just for a day
Then rain & front will take warm away
But, only for a couple of days
New trend with Earth warming phase
And with warmer, more evaporation
Which of course increases precipitation
Or not
If too hot
Our CO2 experiments continue
Fewer weather choices on menu
Sure no change coming this year
Just more blame, lies, hate & fear
Least economy will be fine
If we just keep shopping on-line
Deep in debt seems to be the way
Most Americans are happy to stay
Don't plan kids, sure, go on have six
Food bank help, ramen & fish sticks
15 or 20 billion, Earth will be fine
Sure, Earth won't mind
Earth won't care when collapse comes
Planet don't care about human sums
Meteor was unknown surprise
Leading to dinosaur demise
But, millions see the coming storm
Still greed & pollution are the norm
Sorry kids, for what we're leaving you
Keep skipping & protests coming thru
Boomers likely remembered as worst
Fat & drowning in world of thirst

Greed & growth bad alibi
Philippine's Taal volcano still shaking
But, no big eruption is it making
Yet..
But, I wouldn't bet
Against a coming blast
We'll all know, really fast
Hawai'i still lots of little quakes
But, no lava causing surface breaks
That, too, will come
Steady as Earth's beating drum
The heat will get out
Mo' shaking & blasting, never a doubt
Puerto Rico still settling down
And, little quakes all the Ring round
Another day on Earth, never complain
Even with southern snow & mo' rain
Is anything better than this life?
Even with massive turmoil & strife?
To that I would say, NO!
Life is the way to go
Can we, the guardians do much better
Didn't believe that, wouldn't pen this letter
