7.6 or 7.7 BILLION people is a lot

42 years ago, heard Isaac Asimov speak
Said, if population control we don't seek
More & more problems would arise
I believed him but to no surprise
Human numbers have doubled since then
And, shocker, resources are stretched thin
If we can't switch to just 1 or 2 kids
All future advancements, on the skids
Wars, diseases, famines will spread
Billions will end up dead
Yet, population graph continues to climb
Breed on cries, male religious slime
Jebuddahammed wants you to out breed
But, sorry can't help you with feed
Claim: suffer in life, worship death
More lies & evil with every breath
Only fix: women get rights & a say
Misogynist men, all go away
An easy fix, but tough to pull off
Buy less crap, don't fill greed trough
But, if parents plan, have fewer kids
We'll need less with population lids
Elect women, shut down war machine
Keep things moving toward green
Mute commercials, don't fall into trap
Phones, cars, fatty food, CRAP
And, talk to folks and be nice
I know, tough in a world of vice
But, there are way more good than bad
Take a walk, stroll away any sad
Time for me to do that thing
Take a Big Brown Dog out walking
Today On Earth
More sun than clouds today
Warmer southern air headed our way
Tomorrow late, little rain
Then minor cool down again
No chance of snow happening here
Check out planets if skies are clear
No big quake issues anywhere today
In the yard, birds chowing away
Gold Finch flock is back
Serious seed attack
