On a planet warming by the day
Big glob of water headed our way
Slurped out of the Gulf of Mexico
Now east coast rain, anywhere ya go
Even rain up in New England
Deep South, thunder storms minglin'

How long will warm last?
Little chill down come Sunday
Before more warm heads our way
Global warming, it is real
CO2 traps heat, that's the deal
Australia still burning the coal
Wildfires still out of control

Ostrich don't bury their heads in sand
Surely can't be said of man
Prime minister still giving the spin
Need coal to make our economy win
Fires & drought, no coal link!?!

Cuz this warming is going to last

Easily 'til this CENTURY is passed
We will change, will need to adapt
But, this CENTURY is zapped
Warmer & warmer, storms & drought
Scientist agree, there's little doubt
And if science you don't believe
Of your phone, should be relieved
Because that's science, it is real
Unlike the "believers" trying to steal

Just believe, you'll have no strife

Half the quakes, rocks goin' freak'o
Today, are just south of Puerto Rico
Only 20 or so on rest of world
But, more pressure soon unfurled
And, the ring will be shaking again
Escaping heat is going to win..
Just hope it's not magma rising
But, really wouldn't be surprising
