After a week of Indian Summer
Fall is back, w/ clouds, a bummer
It will continue as we tilt away
In annual game the Earth does play
Big ole quakes, 6.0 & 6.3, southern Iran
Hope not a nuke plant gone wrong
I'm sure they'll plead to allah, help please
But, as usual, no help, not even a tease
Otherwise, Scotia plate & near Taiwan
Plus mid-Atlantic ridge, Earth movin' on
Sun got spots but they are mostly calm
So just light dusting of solar wind balm
Ecliptic show, again an arcing eye delight
Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus all in sight
Cloudy here, hints of sun through a haze
To the NW, having snow days
TDS* still denying
So, guess what, still dying
Giving up on watching Sunday news
Tonight going to listen to rockin' blues
An extra layer needed today
If going out for work or for play
Bright colors fading, getting more brown
And, with each gust, more heading down
