Animals adjust to climate change
So, bird feeding schedule I rearrange
Been taking feeder in at night
And, my hunch was right
Without winter snow or cold
Hibernation was getting old
And, our local large black bear
Was back outside, right here
Looking like a void in the yard
So black, light reflection is hard
But, set off motion detector lights
Saw them? something ain't right
With my clap & yell
He abled off, like, "oh, well"
Same guy I've been seeing for years
Usually mid-April when he appears
Like hummers, harbinger of SPRING
Today is that EQUINOX thing
Just before midnight
Sun will be right
Over the equator
Winter, seeeeya later
Today On Earth Starts Spring!!
Shaky planet is quiet no more
Quakes all around Pacific shore
South of Indonesia, a mag. 6.2
But, no tsunami rolling thru
N. Cali coast rocking at 5.2
Utah; lots of aftershocks for you
Volcano list has also grown
As more ash & lava is shown
Western Pacific dominates list
Yet, Meso & South America insist
On still making volcanic noise
Reykjanes, also, one of the boys
21 mountains this week
Showing their freak
Here already hit 70
Mid-80's tomorrow we'll see
Before another brief temp drop
And, another little rain pop
Into early next week
March rain: 1/4" still pretty meek
Corona still on the rampage
USA still not to prep stage
Got no leader
Only little bitch tweeter
So, hang on & hunker down
Never know it in Louisa town
People wandering everywhere
Keep distance, only care
