Forecasts call for Sunday to be warm
Not so far, as clouds still swarm
We're a long way from getting hot
Guess Earth's still calling the shots
Glimpse of Venus & Moon thru the haze
Haven't seen the Pleiades in days
What I am seeing is more green
As new leaves burst on the scene
Corona may have humans laying low
But, rest of world is on the go
Pumping pollen, building nests
Moving forward with breeding quests
Rest of the planet oblivious
To the virus killing us
Just like we don't seem to care
About CO2 going into the air
And, the damage it's already doing
With temps on an upward skewing
With human travel mostly shut down
As most people go to ground
Less pollution, skies clearing
We still won't learn, I am fearing
Waiting to rush back to burning
Fossil fuels from fracking churning
Up gas from deep shale
Exxon greed will prevail
Morons living in science denial
Yet beg for help during virus trial
Like want DeeCee doling out cash
But, don't want socialist rash
All got our hands in the pie
But, many blaming other guy
Still at the top, got no leader
Everyday, more lies from the tweeter
Misinformation, vitriol & blame
Sociopath, without shame
Only wants his face in view
While he cares not about you
Or about me
Reminder, Earth tough place to be
Not sure which is worse
Virus or presidential curse
Time will move on, both will pass
Hunker down, save your own ass

Another average quake day
Nothing wild underway
Big storm along Great Lakes
Western US with the shakes
As another winter blast
Reminds us cold not quite past
Still, comet headed toward the sun
Could make for viewing fun
Come late April or May
Need telescope or binocs today
And, clouds out of the way
But, Earth will have final say
About it all
Big or small
