The rains of 2018 continue on
Fog, rain, drizzle, sun long gone
But, this weekend it's rain not snow
With temps near 50 or so
And hope that the sun will return
With one more Earthly turn
During this last worldly spin
Quake numbers jumped up again
With lots of action in the western Pacific
In China, Taiwan, Indonesia and PNG
Off western Australia and again Tennessee
The broken planet shakes and shifts
Through the sky the moon still drifts
On past Mars waxing toward full
But, setting before Venus' morning rule
Get up, get out, enjoy your world
In hopes the sun is soon unfurled
We all know only change is coming
Except in DeeCee, the prez still slumming
But, that too will change, he'll be gone
Still lying, denying, the same ole song
I try and ignore it but it won't go away
Need to get out for a dog stroll today
