A Full moon, chasing Jupiter cross the sky
Clear & crisp, a delight for the eye
Still not a hint of cloud to be seen
In the forest, lots of color w/ the green
October..well, except for a hurricane
Is a month makes it tough to complain
If you don't think of wars or a pandemic
Or gun violence or racism that's systemic
But then, it is Colombus Day
And, we humans seem built that way
Hate what's different, look to blame
Others for your problems, sooo the same
America conquered w/ guns, germs & steel
Going back to old ways, is sooo unreal
Wanna see the problem, it's easy to do
Look in a mirror, it's staring back at you
What happens to you, always your fault
Well, perhaps w/ a minor grain of salt
There is genetics & parental planning
So..some issues generational spanning
But, reality, any change starts w/ you
Change a habit, take a new view
Tis true that luck favors the prepared
About your problems, no one else cared
Oh sure, they'll ask as if they do
But, they got issues & problems, too
So blame Colombus or R. E. Lee
But, it's in the mirror you're gonna see
All the info you need to know
'Bout where in the future you will go
It's only about you, you need to care
We all know Earth is unaware
Of our problems, concerns or plight
It's on us to get our world right
Gonna be quakes, sunspot blasts, too
Corporate 'merica'll give us the screw
But, verizon & google sure don't care
That blog won't load, they're unaware
Still gonna bill, still w/ overcharge
Cuz we let 'em get too large
Well...now it's back w/ the update..
Seems every day I gotta wait
And, wait and wait and wait
Corporate 'merica is so easy to hate
Could be worse, could be in I-ran
Where only got rights if you a man
Course, that's sadly true here
Where Baptist & GOP make it clear

We know how but still build trash
Greed still rules, want the quick cash
But, Earth gets the final say
And, we know insurance ain't gonna pay
It's more of donnie's style we're gonna see
