Making for a crisp, cool Monday
Still little color change underway
Mostly dogwoods & a few tupelos
Iridescent reds, got the inner glows
Some maples, too, beginning to turn
Few poplars with the yellow burn
Moon is closing in on Full
Giving Earth big ole tidal pull
Sun not real spotty but has a hole
Our star, it's wind, always in control
That will kick upper air up a notch
Living way north, be a joy to watch

But, likely 2,000+ no longer compete
