Finally...A Little Rain...And Cool!!

It took until after dark as storms missed all around but rain actually fell here last evening; little over an inch of the much needed wet stuff; lots more nearby. The front, long stalled in the midwest, is just now exiting eastern Va and will clear the southern coast later today, leaving a cool, cloudy day and a pleasant forth weekend. That set the stage for now Hurricane Elsa; earliest named fifth storm, ever. And, we thought last year was wild, already ahead of that pace, hang on!!

Not so pleasant in the Philippines(ever in my book:) but Taal the Volcano, shaky and gassy for weeks seems to have kicked it up another notch and may be ready to blow. It's not far from the capital Manilla, big trouble for that corrupt, grossly overpopulated place. More begging, for help, money, likely coming.

DeeCee proved they can rival Miami in corruption and poor building practices(as two of the bigger enema spots in the US, not a real surprise either place) as a 5 story building, under construction pancaked down yesterday. High winds during a storm getting the blame..but, a 5 story building has to stand on it's own even during construction. I'd guess, insurance lawyers already claiming they won't pay, building blaming forces beyond their control, the usual way to celebrate in the USA, deny responsibility!!

Lots of small quakes around Puerto Rico today, but not much shaking around the plate boundaries of our planet. Only one even at 5.0; just means pressures build.

Small CME from our star heading Earth's way, arrival tomorrow likely to stir some auroras in the far north and south but cause little in the way of issues elsewhere.

TrumpVirus deaths still around 300/day, all unvaccinated, all idiots, seeeeeya. The great Punk'n Head at "his" border wall demanding it be painted, again and again in his usual repeating of stupidity, so followers get it (but, they don't); I still think there are on going issues with mini-strokes there. Let's hope for a big one to truly end the TrumpVirus.

Another hawk sighting, but he's not taking a squirrel with him before he goes and the tree rats are a plague here, come on Mr. Hawk, help me out, Today On Earth.
