Quakes, aftershocks, storms at play
Several storms roiled for miles
What it left, were not smiles
Trees & roofs, ripped & strewn
Cold front through, none to soon
Lower temps & humidity, too
With the 90's, we are through
Well, for a short while
August sure to crank up the dial
Alaska still shaking with aftershocks
Takes awhile to readjust slippin' rocks
Meso & S. America & Tajikistan
Seem today's Earth shake plan
But, no plan, just pressure release
Billions more years 'fore that'll cease
