Light rain from the outer bands of this massive storm are already here in central Va. Gonna be a wet weekend with lots more rain to come.

Even with two small sunspots, sun is still very quiet. Moon is sliding on around the Earth, deep on the morning side as an ever waning crescent hanging with Castor & Pollux in Gemini this morning pre-dawn. Thinner crescent above Venus on Tuesday, below Wednesday. Mars, Saturn and Jupiter carry on their evening sky show for those of you with sky viewing privileges this weekend.
Couple more systems in Caribbean Atlantic showing signs of storm formation; anyone thinks this year hurricane season is done is kidding themselves, stay tuned, stay safe, be prepared..for anything, no one could make this year up. But, Earth will provide and prevail, if we give it a chance.
