Reminds Me Of Yesterday!

Wind still blowing, sky still blue
Hunkered down, me & you!
Dozens of aftershocks in Idaho
Same ole thing off Puerto Rico
More blame & lies from the tweeter
Big orange head, saying "I'm a leader"
Bragging he's number 1 on facebook
Down playing lives coronaV took
Still claiming we got plenty of testing
With unprotected workers still protesting
Blaming companies for not doing enough
Just now realizing things getting rough
FLA & GA just shutting down
Not just stupidity in DeeCee town
Many republican governors still say
"Why close up, it ain't coming our way"
Yet, when folks start dying
They'll all be crying
And blaming the Dems
"All a conspiracy by them"
Add to the trouble, Jarrett in charge
Now saying, death toll will be large
So, do what you can
Avoid your fellow man
As health care pros working overtime
Let's ignore lying DeeCee slime
Get outside, a lovely spring day
Spectacular sky show coming our way
Last night spotted Venus 'fore sunset
Used Skyview for help, you bet
Then forgot hook-up with Subaru
But, tonight Venus'll be passin' thru
The little star cluster
Binocs for the best luster
Moon headed to SUPER when Full
Going to be serious tidal pull
Ubiquitous, coastal flooding will be
Gonna get worse from a rising sea
Global Warming, too slow it seems
Maybe call it WEATHER EXTREMES
And, let's get one thing clear
It ain't coming, it's already here!
Me, I got a tomato growing inside
Hunkered down in tirehouse, as I hide

Also, basil, jalepenos and chard
All just waiting to go into the yard
Almost a month since the last frost
But, don't get cocky, all could be lost
Remember, we're into a new time
Weather extremes will not be sublime
Like..Tuesday storm still wants to play
Into Atlantic, but working back this way
So, here we sit, right in between
High & Low causing big windy scene
At least no big quakes, or killer waves
Just nasty virus sending folks to their graves
Still no leadership with a clue
Leaving it up to me & to you
So, stay safe & be smart
Hunker down, stay apart
Today On Earth!
