Were it January, this wouldn't be chilly
It was only 48, that would be silly
But, after weeks of record breaking heat
I'm thinking of putting socks on my feet
Cause it is chilly out there
Fall is finally in the air

While the heat has broken, front was dry
So, drought grows, fire danger high
Slight shower chance come Monday

Headed to the arctic to play!
No storms brewing in the Atlantic
And, no big quakes causing panic
Only one even 5.0 anywhere today
Is the planet calming for Saturday
