S & E, Jupiter & Venus get closer to meeting
To the west, Saturn gets 3/4 lunar greeting
But, up early you must be
And, clear SE view if ya wanna see
The baby leaves continue to grow
Forest vistas shortened, w/ green glow
Temps are warming, even hotter tomorrow
Out on the High Plains, major sorrow
South: wildfires torching homes and land
North
Another blizzard, wild Earth, in command
Earth day, usual human scene
Blah, blah, blah, gotta go green
When every where, too many people seen
But, talk population..it's so unclean
Why can't fools have kids they can't care for
Why can't they just demand more & more
Yet, they just pray & pray & pray
Why does jesus, allah, buddha look away
Well, cuz it's Earth & evolution in charge
Natural Selection's given us a brain that's large
But, use it rationally we won't do
Keep thinking prayers will go through
We hold science right in our hand
Will search out our every demand
Still it's superstition we go to
Thinking prayer will get us an Earth re-do
So, if ya keep praying & nothing ya see
