Saw the sad news yesterday
Sherman Shifflett had passed away
Long cancer battle, but was doing well
But, on Earth, ya can never tell

Fair consequences, with a grin
On school board, nobody's fool
Knew schools need enforceable rules
Knew real issues, few bad parents
For their turd* want the rules bent
They create problems for schools to fix

To battle parents making a bad choice
The county & world, lost a wise voice
Cold front thru, wind is down
