By now, tsunami warnings are gone
Western heat wave is sneaking east
TrumpVirus still havin' a USA feast
Average deaths back over 500 a day
Making unhealthy, unvaxed, regret & pay
Sun, still spotty & blasting away
Luckily, still, none headed Earth's way
Another morning in 50's here
Skies remain smoke hazy but clear
No rain in 7 day forecast
And, most of week heat should last
In the trees, 90 we won't hit
But, lots of pavement, gonna get lit
Seasons say it's almost fall
But, w/ CO2 levels no longer small
Heat will just continue to build
Up on the coast, oceans spilled
If not freaked at least chilled
Droughts, famines, billions killed
Future's coming, we look back to past
Gotta wonder, how long humans last..
