Winter Rolls On...

Chilly air lingers, clouds return

For free solar heating I yearn

Rollin' thru the wood these days

Winter sure not going away

Mild November & December

Warmth..that I barely remember

'Nother big storm on the way

Snow, rain, mess..Sunday

Snow cover perpetuates the cold

But, w/o skiing, snow gets old

Thinking about going to Floriduuuh

But, big death camp, not so sure

Speaking of death, there's the USA

That's w/ no count in lot of places

Aleutians really only shaky spot

Also, w/ 3 mountains running hot

Galapagos & Reunion Isle, too

Doing the old lava spew

Iceland's volcanoes on a break

Hawai'i steady on the basalt make

Our nearby star quite fired up

Spots blasting, rather abrupt

Thankfully not blasting our way

But, with solar spin, not far away..

Moon waxes on, getting bright

Makes for walking into the night

Paths are clear, easy to see

With the forest still so snowy

'Bout to venture into town

No sense with power shut down

Sure the shelfs will be quite low

Virginians stocking for more snow
