Need a reminder Earth's in charge
Into my world it's about to barge
Yesterday it was in tropical paradise
Where on Tonga, quickly, not so nice
Winter storm Izzy is trashing the South
We'll soon be in that storm's snowy mouth
Forecast from snow to ice to rain
Va. piedmont will feel planet's pain
But, at least no tsunami headed our way
And, no ash fall coming down here today
Not so, in Tonga, it seems
Where Earth just came apart at the seams

Under sea eruption, cloud seen from space
In the Pacific, water surge all over the place
Power already out all across dixieland
Poles & transformers again in demand
Not sure how bad it'll be here
But, by Monday, it'll be clear
Right now it's just cold, nasty out
With hungry birds flying all about
Big dog snoring, after a roam
Not long, too cold, headed back home
Other than Tonga, plenty of shakes
Greece, Taiwan, Scotia plate, PNG
Shifting & sliding along boundaries

Here, it's snow, flakes starting to fly
Tough right now, surface very dry
High from north, laying in the wedge
Moisture overruns, we get the sledge

Roiling sun still blasting away
Way north more aurora colors at play

Blizzard, Eruption, TrumpVirus surge
Lot of humans hearing the dirge
Be careful out their, Earth she don't play
