Sam Goes Big, Temps Stay Small

While still just stirring(wildly) the waters of the warm, open Atlantic, Hurricane Sam has jumped to Cat. 4 driven by the energy of that warm water. The future path remains to be determined.
High pressure continues its rule over the east coast but slides a little farther east, bringing air a little more from the southwest, warmer and  wetter but still very nice outside. Little chance of rain in the coming week...well, we'll see what Sam does.
TrumpVirus numbers seem down but Floriduuh, no report, nor are there reports from most heavy denier states..except that ICU's are full and overflowing even in high vaccination rate states; still too many unvaxed dumbassess for that to change anytime soon, schools shutting down here and there...sooooo glad I'm not in one of those hot spots.
Only 2 quakes crossed the magnitude 5 barrier today, both below the ocean floor. Few others around but most just reminders, "you live in an earthquake zone".
The large brown dog-like monster that eats and sleep here is off visiting the neighbors; kids, golf cart, cute girl dog, but he will be (mostly) excited to see me and happy to wander the woods with me. Time to go, I've heard enough of the news...the aftermath of 4 very ugly years that are still a large anchor around the neck of USA democracy.
Stay safe, be smart, Today On Earth.
When in doubt, chill in a field, cow-like!!
